That, in a nutshell, is Jewish humor — a blend of tragedy, irony, and brisket. From the moment a Jewish baby cries for the first time (“Already with the guilt!”) to the final eulogy (“He was never on time, but at least for this, he didn’t make us wait”), laughter has always been our best survival strategy.
