Session: Dina – the daughter who was dishonored or the woman who saved the Israelites? The story of Dina is found in the Torah, but it also lives on in rabbinic literature: but in a different vein. Why is the story interpreted so differently in the different texts, and what can we learn from it?

Bio: Desirée Lind and is a master’s student at Lund University, mainly in Jewish studies. Also studies other Hebrew texts and older Semitic culture.
