Autism and inclusion in the Jewish community
Session: Autism affects many people in the Jewish Population. Understanding more about it would help those on the autistic spectrum and and their families to become more included in schools, shulls and the outside world in general.
This session provides an introduction to autism, for those families struggling with autism and people who want to make this world a more inclusive one.
Bio: Jane Ansell founded Sleep Scotland supporting families of children and young people with additional support needs and developed TEENS+, a post school special needs education programme. She is co-founder of the Edinburgh Jewish Dialogue and Cultural Centre and has developed and delivers a variety of Jewish Learning programmes.
